Repeat Apple Music on iPhone and iPad
You can easily put a song, album, or playlist on repeat in Apple Music on your iPhone or iPad using Siri. While the music plays, simply access Siri and say, “Repeat this song,” “Repeat this album,” or “Repeat this playlist,” and Siri complies.
If you prefer not to use Siri for this action, you can set your music on repeat using the screen options in Apple Music.
- On the iPhone, play the music and tap the Now Playing bar at the bottom to open the detail screen. Select the three dots in the lower right corner and tap the Repeat button next to Playing Next at the top.
- On iPad, play the song, album, or song and tap the Repeat button in the Now Playing bar.
- Tap the button twice to display Repeat (1) for a song or once to Repeat (All) for an album or playlist.
You’ll see the Repeat button highlighted when you activate the feature.

Turn Off Repeat on iPhone and iPad
To turn off repeat on your mobile device later, follow the same steps as above and tap the Repeat button until it’s no longer highlighted or ask Siri to turn off repeat.
Repeat Apple Music on Mac
Similar to iPhone and iPad, you can place songs, albums, and playlists on repeat in Apple Music on your Mac. You can access Siri and type or say, “Repeat this song,” “Repeat this album,” and so on.
Alternatively, you can enable repeat in the Apple Music app with the options below.
Play the song, album, or playlist and do one of the following:
- Select the Repeat button in the playback controls on the top left. Use twice to replay the current song or once to replay the entire album or playlist.
- Select Controls > Repeat in the menu bar and choose One or All.

Turn Off Repeat on the Mac
To turn off repeat in Apple Music on Mac, do one of the following:
- Select the Repeat button until it’s no longer highlighted.
- Choose Controls > Repeat > Off.
